1. About Us
Steel City Detailers is a mobile car detailing service operating in the greater Pittsburgh, PA area. By using our website, booking a service, or opting in to our SMS program, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Booking & Deposits
- Non-members are required to pay a $25 refundable deposit at the time of booking to reserve a time slot.
- Active members skip the deposit as part of their membership benefits.
- Deposits are fully refundable if the appointment is cancelled at least 24 hours in advance.
- Deposits are credited toward the final service total on the day of service.
- Cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment may forfeit the deposit at our discretion.
3. Service Pricing & Quotes
Prices listed on our website are starting prices. Final pricing depends on vehicle size, condition, and the specific services selected. Quoted services (e.g., heavy pet hair, biohazard, extreme detail) will be confirmed in writing before work begins.
4. Memberships
Membership plans are billed through Stripe on a recurring monthly or yearly basis. You can cancel at any time from your member dashboard. Cancellations stop future billing but do not refund the current billing period. Member perks (loyalty points, priority booking, deposit waiver, etc.) end when the membership lapses.
5. SMS Messaging Program
Program name: Steel City Detailers SMS Notifications
Description: By submitting a booking request through steelcitydetailers.com or by texting START to (412) 475-1960, you consent to receive transactional SMS messages from Steel City Detailers regarding your appointment. Messages include booking confirmations, appointment reminders, on-the-way alerts, job status updates, completion notifications, and review requests.
Message frequency: Varies based on your booking activity — typically 2 to 6 messages per appointment.
Message and data rates: Msg & data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details.
Opt-out: Reply STOP to any message at any time to unsubscribe from all SMS messages. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts.

Carriers: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, and most other major U.S. carriers.
6. Service Limitations
- We do not currently offer paint correction or full paint restoration. Our top-tier exterior service is "Polish & Shine".
- We require access to a water source and standard outlet for most services unless otherwise arranged.
- We reserve the right to refuse service for vehicles that pose safety or biohazard risks without prior disclosure.
7. Liability
We take great care with every vehicle. In the unlikely event of accidental damage caused by our service, please notify us within 24 hours so we can resolve it directly. Our liability is limited to the cost of the service performed.

9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date will reflect any changes. Continued use of our service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
